If something here is unclear, tell us - we would rather fix the wording than have you guess.
How does provisioning work after I pay?
Cashfree confirms the payment to our backend (verified with the provider API and webhooks). A background job then creates your Pterodactyl user and server on the node, waits for the install to finish, and emails you the address. You never wait on a web request - the queue handles slow installs and retries safely.
What does the free plan actually include?
1 GB of RAM, a fixed CPU share, a few GB of disk, an allocation and up to 10 player slots as a configurable limit. It is intended for testing, students and small friend groups, has community-level support, and is limited to one active free server per verified account. Free servers hibernate when idle.
What happens when I do not renew in time?
An invoice is issued before the billing date. If it is not paid, reminders go out, then the server is suspended after the grace period, and after the retention window the server data may be deleted. Billing records are kept. Paying before deletion restores the server automatically.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Yes. Upgrades can apply immediately after any price difference is paid; downgrades take effect at the next billing boundary so you keep what you paid for. Limits are verified against node capacity before an upgrade is confirmed.
Which server software is supported?
Exactly the eggs installed on our panel: Paper, Vanilla, Sponge, BungeeCord and Forge. Purpur and Fabric are not installed today - we will add them to the catalogue when they exist on the panel, not before.
How does hibernation work, and can players wake the server?
Free-plan servers with zero players for the configured idle period are stopped gracefully and marked hibernated. No data is deleted. Waking is not automatic: a stopped Minecraft server cannot receive player connections, so you press Wake in the dashboard (or use the Discord bot/support) before playing. This is documented honestly rather than pretending wake-on-join exists.
Do you offer DDoS protection?
We will not make claims about protection levels we cannot verify. The node runs behind standard hosting network filtering; if you have a specific threat model, contact us and we will tell you exactly what is and is not in place.
How do I get the Pterodactyl panel login?
On your first order we create a Pterodactyl account with your email. You set the password yourself through the panel's "forgot password" flow - we never email passwords. Day-to-day management works fully from the Crystalink dashboard; the panel is there if you want it.
Where do I get support?
Open a ticket from your dashboard (attach the server or invoice for context) or email us. There is also a Discord community for quick questions. Free-tier support is community-grade; paid plans get priority.
Still deciding?
Start with the free plan - it is a real server, not a trial timer. Upgrade whenever you outgrow it.
